Creating a Bookmark or Favorite Link

To place a link directly to the database(s) at the corresponding address(es) below, PC users should right click and MAC users should click and hold on the links presented and select Add Favorite/Shortcut.

Creating Desktop Shortcuts

  1. Select the following links for the product(s) you wish to add a desktop shortcut for:

  2. Save the file to disk and remember where you saved it.

  3. Browse to the location where you saved the file.

  4. Double click on SetupSKS.exe or SetupDis.exe and follow the on screen instructions.

  5. Double click on the icons installed on the desktop to launch SIRS' databases.

MacOS 8+ IE USERS

  1. Click and hold the following links for the product(s) you wish to add a desktop shortcut for:

  2. Select Download link to Disk.

  3. Click on the icons installed on the desktop to launch SIRS' databases.

Linking From a Web Site

To place the SKS or Discoverer logo on your Web site, follow these easy steps:

  1. Select a logo from those presented below and save it to your computer. This can be done by dragging the desired image to your desktop or right clicking and selecting the option to Save Picture/Image as.

  1. Upload the image file from your computer to your server.

  2. Insert the following HTML code on your Web page. Be sure to point the <img src> to the location of the image file on your server and replace path/image.gif with the location and file name from your server.
